So Jessica and I are in the middle of planning a trip to China in May and we needed to get our visas but after finding out the closest consulate was in San Fran we decided to use a 3rd party. After a Google search we found a company with an office in Seattle, We made a day trip out of going and having them do our visas for us. In this episode you will find out how we did our visas for china as well as a trick to get around needing confirmation of where you’re staying. I hope you enjoy the podcast.
Lost in Transit Podcast
It's been a rough week trying to finish all the Photo Blogs on my website and it led me to think about the fact that I don't only take photos for my trips but I also try and journal them as well. In this podcast I talk about the different ways you can document and remember the trips you've taken.
There is a problem some of the worlds most popular tourist attractions are facing and its called overtourism. Over tourism is what happens when a place becomes too popular and tourism becomes unsustainable. In this episode I talk about my experiences with overtourism, some ways to combat it and posting responsibly on social media while you travel.
On this weeks episode I polled some Listener questions off of my personal and the Podcast Social Media Pages. Questions like “How the novice traveler can start” and “How to Prepare for foreign toilets”. I would like to thank all those who sent messages, for those I didn’t get to Ill keep them around for next time. I briefly talk about my photography in the episode below is a list of the camera gear I typically carry when I travel.
So first I would like to start off by saying this podcast is what I do sometimes and it’s not something you have to live by. Below you will find a list of the things I talk about that I carry with me. It will be broken up in sections much like in the podcast.

It gets sweaty when you travel take a bandana or 2. It also get’s cold don’t forget to take a Hat. I keep all of my small things in these Eagle creek bags

I talk about the nice people at The Local Guesthouse and brew pub in Siem Reap. Theres a quick little stories of visiting one of the driest places on earth, Micro countries (Monaco, San Marino, Vatican City), and our time at the Munduk Molding Plantation. Dea is probably the first person I knew who had really traveled. It only seemed natural that I have her as my first guest on the show.
